Grapes: 70% Merlot, 30% Refosco grown in our own vineyards. Vinification process: The two varieties are harvested by hand and are vinified separately. The macerations together with the skins last from 20 to 25 days. A part of the Refosco grapes partially dry until December. The wines then age in 225 litres oak barrels for 15 months. After the blend, Vineargenti ages in 30 hl. barrels for a further 12 months. Then the wine refines for one year in bottle.
Colour: deep ruby red
Bouquet: intense with notes of wild berries, spices, dried flowers, tobacco and chocolate
Taste: full, elegant soft tannins, lingering and with nice notes of ripe fruits
Gastronomic matches: It is wonderful with roasted red meat and pork shin.
